MK Brass provides an afternoon of music at Bands of the Green, West Bletchley

We were guests of West Bletchley Council on Sunday, 3 July as part of their Bands on the Green summer programme.

The band performed from 2pm to 4pm with a short break – one of which was very well timed to see the Red Arrows fly overhead on their way to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

The audience enjoyed the variety of pieces played by the band, which included marches – Praise and Famous British Marches; along with two soloists – our Solo Cornet, Matt Ball plating El Cumbanchero and Solo Trombone, Martin Wakley playing Blue Jeans.

There were also numerous crowd pleasures in there for good measure, including The Floral Dance, Soul Bossa Nova, Disney Fantasy, the Can Can, Sweet Caroline and James Bond theme tunes.

The weather was kind to us and the audience was very appreciative of our performance and we hope to be back again next year.
