MK Brass join the party at the Bedford River Festival

Milton Keynes Brass at the Bedford River Festival

On 24 July the band was invited to entertain festival goers at the bi-annual Bedford River Festival.

Playing on the Bedford Town Bridge itself, and introduced by the Mayor of Bedford, the band entertained everyone with a wide selection of classical, pop and English folk pieces…albeit with the odd interruption every now and then by the flying water jet people and the very (VERY) loud cannon fire from musket and royal navy displays happening nearby.

With over 250,000 visitors over the two-day festival, the band, alongside other groups from the area, helped make the festival an enormous success. We even made it onto Anglia news!
