Milton Keynes puts on Heritage Open Day Event

For the second year running MK Brass held an event at Loughton First Manor School as part of the Heritage Open Days. These events are held up and down the country to celebrate England's history and culture. Every September thousands of volunteers organise events which are free to attend and Milton Keynes Brass was no exception.

At the start of the concert the sky looked na bit grey but we blew the clouds away with our opening numbers. Following these we debuted our entertainment set that we'll be playing in our contests in October. As well as music to enjoy we provided cream tea, brownies and cookies for refreshments. We also featured a number of solo items in our programme with Matt Ball our Principal cornet playing Sugar Blues, Duncan Bruce our Solo Euphonium performing Blaydon Races and Martin Wakely our Solo Trombone playing Blue Jeans. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon for all.
